The Elite Label Account Manager has the responsibility as the primary customer contact to assist with pricing existing designs, provide guidance and manage resources for new designs, and engage potential new clients leveraging Elite Label's existing processes and core competencies. The overall focus is to make existing business opportunities successful, increase the opportunity with those same clients for additional business, and finally represent Elite Label on opportunities with new clients found through referral or some other incoming sales channel.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Communicate costs and lead times to the customer to ensure that the client’s expectations are managed. Timely responses to both the customer and internal GMN departments are required for costs, lead time, product specifications, materials, etc.
Interface directly with customers to support sales, customer relations, and to assist in aligning solutions to client needs. Create value-driven solutions through creative use of materials and finishing techniques, provide a seamless customer experience via single point of contact, and make sure that supporting processes (such as work flow, procedures, and use of GMN resources) are effective and consistent.
Collaborate with GMN Process Engineering and Manufacturing personnel to problem solve client challenges including costs, design, product specifications, etc.
Provide solutions that effectively manage Elite Label Design resources (including such things as materials, inks, equipment, and labor) taking into account scope of work, potential costs to Elite Label, total value of opportunity, and Elite Label’s value proposition for that project.
Provide a high level of customer service by providing a quick and thorough response on all customer action items and communications using GMN systems and processes, as well as other software programs to effectively and efficiently research and reply to customers' requests. Work closely with customers on design of product, manufacturability, materials to be used, approval of tooling to be used, expectations on delivery and price. This must to be done to assist client with their needs while always insuring adequate profits for GMN based on the service levels required.
Required Education and Experience:
High school diploma or GED equivalent
College degree preferred.
2 years of relevant industry experience
Experience working in sales and business to business customer service environment is preferred
General knowledge of materials, manufacturing, and manufacturing systems
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality at all times
Proven ability to be a skilled and continuous learner of interpersonal skills
Enthusiastic outgoing personality
Excellent organization skills
Experience working in a highly interactive team environment with strong teamwork skills
Proficient with MS Office software and use of a PC
Strong math and analytical skills
Good business decision making skills
Ability to act as facilitator of action items, driving them to completion in a timely manner.
Ability to work under time constraints with changing priorities
