ECFMG is seeking an ECHO (ECFMG Certificate Holders Office) Program Manager at the Philadelphia, PA office. This position administers ECHO , an ECFMG program that provides support and service to international medical graduates who pursue ECFMG Certification and graduate medical education in the United States. The position functions to meet identified needs of this audience by creating and identifying resources for dissemination by ECHO; coordinating the development of ECHO resources by internal and external experts; delivering resources and other information using diverse channels and according to an editorial calendar coordinated with the U.S. GME application calendar; updating resources regularly; and coordinating outreach activities.

Ability to recognize and understand the needs of target audience and match resources to those needs
Excellent Verbal and Written communication skills
Ability to produce and effectively implement publication schedules
Well-developed organizational skills, solid follow-through, attention to detail
Ability to serve as a professional and informed representative of the ECHO program to external organizations. Ability to demonstrate polished presentation skills
Strong Computer Skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Identify resources that will meet identified needs of ECHO's users
Create content for ECHO resources, and newsletters
Coordinate review process for ECHO resources and newsletters
Fact-checking, which many involve research using written materials, Internet, telephone, and face-to-face meetings.
Generate social media content that promotes ECHO's resources and activities
Collaborate with staff of other ECFMG departments to integrate information from and about ECHO into their programs
Coordinate with Communications staff to ensure timely publication of ECHO materials
Identify potential external experts and solicit their contributions to ECHO resources
Other duties as assigned by Assistant VP

Minimum of five year's experience in a professional office environment, preferably in an educational and/or non-profit setting.
Minimum three years professional experience in a role with exposure to U.S. graduate medical education and international medical graduates.
Experience with communications, publishing, and social media required.
Bachelor's Degree or six to eight years relevant experience required.
Master's Degree preferred.

The Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) is a not for profit organization based in Philadelphia, PA. ECFMG has the responsibility of evaluating qualifications of graduates of international medical schools who seek entry into postgraduate medical education positions in the United States. International medical graduates who wish to enter an ACGME-accredited residency or a fellowship program in the U.S. must be certified by ECFMG. The current requirements for ECFMG Certification include passing portions of the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE).
