ECFMG is recruiting for a Technology Advancement Project Manager in the Philadelphia, PA headquarters. The Technology Advancement Project Manager is accountable for contributing to the development of technology systems that support service programs within the Operations area, with a particular focus on Operations-wide initiatives and cross-departmental projects. For approved projects, the Technology Advancement Project Manager works closely with Operations staff to ensure that all systems are developed according to identified business needs within the timeline approved for the project; this serving as the product owner for all enterprise-wide initiates and working with staff assigned to serve as the product owner on department/service line-specific projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Facilitates Collaborative Program Development Efforts

Assist in monitoring and managing the Operations IT Priority list, including gathering status updates from stakeholders, communicating with Operations group regarding project status, and updating timelines based on Operations priorities.
Develop and facilitate standardized reporting methods for on-going projects, create executive updates and reports, and monitor the "big picture" of Operations technology projects.
For approved projects, collaborates with program manager and other stakeholders to assemble interdepartmental project teams, define objectives and scope of project, and ensure that all relevant and potentially relevant departments/programs are represented within the team.

Leads Development of Effective and Efficient Enterprise-wide/Cross-departmental Projects

Serve as the product owner for enterprise-wide/cross-departmental projects. Product owner responsibilities include:
Develop and manage project plans for approved projects, and ensure adequate time is built into project for all relevant stakeholders to complete assigned tasks
Lead team members to complete assigned tasks within specified timelines
Manage project issues and risk including proper escalation to program managers.
Communicating customer and business needs to development/IT and ensuring the developed programs meet those needs.
Ensuring that user stories with external messaging are reviewed by appropriate stakeholders (Communications, legal, etc.)
Developing training materials and user guides for internal and external users

Minimum of three years of experience with Agile software development in the product owner role
Professional experience with user experience (UX) and with implementing web-based information and applications.
Familiarity with Project Management software, such as Microsoft Project, required.

Bachelor's Degree required; graduate degree preferred
Product Owner certification strongly preferred
Project Management certification and/or Six Sigma training/certification is a plus

Skills and Abilities:
Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation, and meeting facilitation skills.
Strong project management skills
Strong leadership skills, with proven ability to lead a team of peers working towards a common goal.
Ability to represent business/end u users within program development and translate their needs into technical requirement.
