Provider Service Coordinators (PSC's)/ Customer Service Coordinators service over 27,000 contracted and non-contracted providers via the phone. The call center is responsible for responding to 500,000 provider phone inquiries and complaints annually, involving Commercial, Medicare, Medicaid and SelectCare. The call center represents the first point of contact for providers to inquire or communicate regarding accuracy and timeliness of claims payments, referral procedures, prior authorization procedures, appeal procedures, product information, benefit verification and general plan information.
This entry-level position is responsible for managing basic inquiries from active, terminated, and prospective members. They are responsible for exceptional levels of service satisfaction. The degree of client satisfaction and retention achieved is directly related to the success of the customer service teams.
