Qualifications/Requirements:

Masters Degree, NJ licensed MFT, LCSW or Ph.D w/Clinical Certified Supervisor or LCADC, 5 years supervisory experience in PHP or hospital setting; 3 years experience with chemical dependency or dual diagnosed patients.

Clinical Job Duties and Responsibilities:

*Oversee clinical admission (admission assessment and preliminary treatment plan).
*Intervenes and assists as needed, clinically with clients (crisis, crisis intervention, AMA risk, special needs, etc.).
*On-call 24 hours for clinical emergencies and consultation.
*Responsible for overseeing the timely completion of the Psychosocial Assessments, Clinical Admission notes and Master Treatment Plans for all new admissions.
*Provides groups therapy and covers case load for dual diagnosis clients.
*Provides psychological services as needed for dual diagnosis clients. Is responsible for the provision of appropriate services for dual diagnosis clients.
*Coordinates the family therapy program.
*Provides information to office manager to facilitate third party reimbursement.

Administrative Job Duties and Responsibilities:

*Clinical and administrative (referral sources progress letters, letters of completion and all charting, etc.)
*Facilitates weekly treatment planing meeting
*Facilitates development of communication/organizational systems to ensure efficient interdepartmental communication.
*Facilitates weekly group clinical multidisciplinary meeting with counselors and Psychiatrist.
*Facilitates weekly counselor/program aid staff interface meeting on Wednesday.
*Reviews clients' records for quality of treatment documentation and planning.
*Reviews staff communication and shift logs for treatment implications.
*Coordinates with House Managers and Executive Director to meet State licensing standards.
*Facilitates clinical quality assessment and improvement.
*Provides quality assessment and improvement training, staff development for other key personnel including but not limited to cohesiveness, problem solving and hiring/firing.
*Coordinates patient care policy and procedure development an funnels updates to Executive Director.
*Participates in the quality assurance and utilization review activities of the facility as directed by the Executive Director.
*Consults routinely with the nurse, Medical Director, House Manager, and Executive Director on an as needed basis.
*Develops coordinates and maintains clinical program policies and procedures, designing and developing and modifying, as necessary, overall program parameters.
*Monitors all components of program to ensure compliance with all licensing and regulatory agencies.
*Communicate with Executive Director and Human Resources pertaining to all staff issues including proper staffing.
* Other duties as assigned by Executive Director.
